About Us
Built by people who lived inside the CSRD compliance problem
Pittsburgh, PA. Founded 2022. Three people who previously built or used CSRD compliance workflows at mid-market industrial companies.
Why We Exist
Why Greenopsiq exists
From 2018 to 2022, Rachel Dubois worked as a sustainability consultant in Pittsburgh advising mid-market manufacturers — companies in the 300-800 employee range with SAP or Oracle ERP systems and a growing regulatory obligation to report GHG emissions. The projects ran four to six months each. The deliverable was a CSRD-readiness assessment or a GHG inventory, and the work was largely the same every time.
Extract GL data from SAP into Excel. Clean the vendor codes. Map cost centers to GHG Protocol categories. Download IPCC emission factors and apply them row by row. Write the report. Wait two weeks for the auditor to ask where Category 6 business travel came from. Repeat next year.
"I was charging mid-market clients €180K for a six-month project where 80% of the work was structured data transformation. The remaining 20% — the double-materiality assessment, the stakeholder workshops, the disclosure strategy — that part needed human judgment. The rest did not. There was no software that connected to the ERP and automated the data pipeline. So I decided to build it."
Rachel co-founded Greenopsiq in Pittsburgh in 2022 with David Osei, a fintech ERP integration architect who had spent several years building financial data connectors for regional banks and credit unions. Greenopsiq is not a consulting firm that also sells software. It is software that replaces the repeatable parts of the consultancy engagement — minus the billable hours.

Principles
Principles we ship by
Audit trail above all
Every number in a CSRD disclosure must trace back to source data. We never produce output without a methodology citation the auditor can follow. If we cannot cite the factor version and source document, the number does not appear in the report.
Software, not a consulting front
We do not offer managed services, advisory retainers, or CSRD readiness consulting. We build software. If you need a stakeholder workshop facilitator for your double-materiality assessment, we can refer you to specialists — that is not our business.
Mid-market first, always
Fortune 500 companies have 40-person ESG teams and dedicated Big 4 relationships. We build for the sustainability manager who is also the IT liaison, the CFO's direct report, and the person who will personally present the ESRS E1 disclosure to the auditor.
